Author: Akil - From Niggas To Gods Vol. I. Every young Black male or female should read this book. If it were my choice, I would have this book as part of a school curriculum in every Black high school. The reason is because a lot of young Black males who are hard to reach have a militant attitude and this book is able to spark the minds of those militant youth. I love reading this book and I'm always anxious to recommend it to any fellow brother who's in a gang or in prison, because they really really need this information that's in this book.
