The Time: Portrait of a Journey Home: Poems and Photographs - Esther Iverem is a former New York Times reporter. She has reviewed film for The Washington Post and New York Newsday and, as the first film critic for the launch of BET.com, she is credited with bringing serious reviews of film from a black perspective to cyberspace. She is the author of The Time: Portrait of a Journey Home and has contributed to numerous anthologies. She lives in Washington, DC.
